Lloyd’s Register Type Approved
British Standard 1088
The BS 1088 specifies requirements for marine plywood for use in the manufacture of marine craft and in other marine and waterway applications.
It also applies to marine plywood that has been selected for use in building construction, extreme climates and in such applications as vehicle bodies and general building work where a high standard of durability is required or where the cost of replacement in the event of failure might be high. |

CARB Approval
California Environmental Protection Agency Air Resources Board
CARB ULEF is for formaldehyde compliance with ULEF (Ultra Low Emitting Formaldehyde) resins.
CARB ULEF certification authorizes a maximum emissions limit of 0,05 ppm. JOUBERT announces that the result showed 0,01 ppm for its plywood panels.
CARB compliance is mandatory for the U.S. market. |

LOW VOC EMISSION PLYWOOD
French classification A+
According to the French regulation, Joubert plywood range is classified A+ wich proves the very law VOC emission level of our panels. |
|

NAUF
No Added Urea Formaldehyde
We confirm that our panels are bonded with phenolic resin and not with urea formaldehyde resin. As a consequence, they are perfectly adapted for interior living areas for they preserve the indoor air quality. |

CE
CE marking is mandatory for construction productsaccording to E.U. law
The purpose of the marking is to inform the end-users about the performances of products in relation to the 6 essential requirements relating to the works:
■ Mechanical resistance and stability
■ Safety in case of fire
■ Hygiene, health and the environment
■ Safety of use
■ Protection against noise
■ Energy economy and heat retention
The exhaustive list of the corresponding characteristics for plywood is given in standard EN 13986. |

NF Extérieur CTB-X
NF Extérieur CTBX is a quality label delivered by a third party certifier for plywood intended for use in exterior construction, with class 3 bonding and according to European Standard NF EN 314-2 to guarantee the resistance to high moisture during long periods. |
|
|
|
 |
Compliance with norm E1
The gluing system used for the manufacturing of Joubert plywood complies with the E1 norm. The E1 norm corresponds to a formaldehyde emission under 0.1 ppm according to the EN 717 1 norm (determination of formaldehyde release). |
|
|
|
 |
Compliance with European norm NF EN 635-2
Defines the surface appearance class of hardwood plywood face veneers. |

|
 |
Compliance with European norm NF EN 314-2
Defines bonding classifications of plywood panels according to the conditions of use:
■ Class 1 : Dry Conditions
Appropriate for normal interior climate (Replacing MR Plywood).
■ Class 2 : Humid Conditions
Appropriate for protected external applications, it is capable of resisting weather
exposure for short periods of time. Also
suitable for interior situations where
moisture condition raised above the class 1 level (Replacing Type 1).
■ Class 3 : Exterior Conditions
Capable of withstanding exposure to
weathering conditions and liquid water over
sustained periods of time (Replacing WBP - Weather and Boil Proof). |
